Bet on sports events at e777 — live odds and multiple markets in one place
From cricket and football to many more sports — e777's sports section offers separate markets for every match. You can bet both before a match starts and while it is in progress.
How sports betting works
Sports betting means placing money on the outcome of a specific event. You can bet on which team will win a match, how many goals or runs will be scored, or other specific occurrences. e777 displays separate odds for each event — the higher the odds, the greater the potential return if you win.
Before placing a bet, choose which market you want to bet on, then decide how much money to stake. If the bet wins, the amount is added to your account according to the odds; if it does not win, the stake is lost. Sports betting is for entertainment — no betting strategy guarantees profit.
To start betting at e777, first create an account and sign in on the e777 Login page, then deposit using bKash, Nagad, or Rocket. This process can be completed easily on mobile from Dhaka or anywhere else in Bangladesh.
6 popular betting markets
Each market has its own characteristics — understanding them makes betting much simpler.
Match Winner
The simplest market — pick Team A, Team B, or Draw (where applicable). Example: betting on Team A to win in a T20 match.
Over / Under
Bet on whether the total goals or runs in a match will be above (Over) or below (Under) a set number. Example: whether total goals in a football match will be more than 2.5.
Handicap Betting
The weaker team is given a virtual advantage (a goal or run margin) to create balance between the two teams. Example: giving Team B a -1.5 goal handicap means they need to win by 2 or more goals.
First Wicket / Goal
Bet on which team will take the first wicket or score the first goal in a match. Example: betting that Team A will take the first wicket in an ODI.
Multi Bet (Accumulator)
Multiple bets are combined to create a larger combined odds. All bets must win. Example: betting on the results of three matches together multiplies the odds.
Outright / Tournament Winner
Bet on which team will ultimately become champion in the whole tournament. Example: which team will win the T20 World Cup — this is an outright market.
Three types of odds formats
Odds can be written in three ways — Decimal, Fractional, and American. All three give the same information, just written differently. e777 typically shows Decimal format, but knowing all three is useful.
Team A to win — stake ৳1,000. Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. If the bet wins, you get back ৳3,000 (৳2,000 profit + original ৳1,000 stake); if the bet loses, ৳1,000 is gone.
Odds for Team B to win: Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125 (American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win ৳100 profit). On a ৳1,000 stake, return is ৳1,800 (৳800 profit).
Decimal odds are the simplest — multiply the stake directly by the odds to get the total return. In Fractional odds, the numerator is the profit and the denominator is the stake. American plus odds indicate an underdog; minus odds indicate a favourite.
| Format | Format | Calculation method |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | Stake × Odds = Return |
| Fractional | 2/1 | Numerator ÷ Denominator × Stake = Profit |
| American (+) | +200 | Stake ÷ 100 × Odds = Profit |
| American (−) | −125 | Stake ÷ Odds × 100 = Profit |
The calculations above are for reference only — the actual return is shown automatically when placing a bet.
Odds multiply in a multi bet
In a multi bet or accumulator, you bet on the results of multiple matches together. The odds of each selection are multiplied with one another, resulting in much higher combined odds. However, if any single bet loses, the entire multi bet is lost.
Three selections — odds 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 4.08 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, return is ৳408, but only if all three selections win. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
A multi bet is appealing because there is a chance of a higher return from a smaller stake. However, the risk is also higher — every selection needs to be correct. Beginners may want to start with 2–3 selections.
More details on multi bets are available on the e777 bet page.
Pre-match vs live betting
Pre-Match Betting
A bet placed before a match starts is called a pre-match bet. During this time, odds are relatively stable and most markets are open. There is enough time to make a decision. For major tournaments like BPL or IPL, markets may open several days before the match.
Live In-Play Betting
A bet placed while a match is in progress is called a live or in-play bet. During this time, odds change every moment — if a wicket falls or a goal is scored, the odds change instantly. You get the chance to decide based on how the match is unfolding, but decisions need to be made quickly.
Pre-match betting is generally easier for beginners, as there is enough time to make a decision. Live betting demands more attention, and because odds change fast, the risk of a rushed decision increases. Whichever type of betting you choose, it is important to bet within your budget.
